Meeting Manhattan: CIMA Business Mission to New York City
The Big Apple is a major music market but a really tough one to bite into! For the first time ever, CIMA will be organizing a private business mission to New York City that will run from January 18-22, 2016.
This mission will provide participating companies with the opportunity to undertake an extensive, valuable and structured foray into the New York music market. CIMA and its participating members will benefit from the network they will create before, during and after the trade mission.
On this mission, delegates will be attending roundtable sessions in the mornings, on topics like Live Music/Touring, Sync/Publishing, and PR/Marketing/Radio. Delegates will also be touring key organizations/companies like Shazam Entertainment, duotone audio, Google, YouTube, Spotify, Soundcloud and Bandsintown.
In addition to personalized one-on-one meetings with key contacts and an industry mixer, our consultant, Sneak Attack Media has retained US speakers like Jay Belin (Agent, William Norris), Matthew Covey (Executive Director, Tamizdat), Matt McDonald (Senior VP, Artists & Events for CMJ Music Marathon), and many more!
