CIMA At World Music Expo 2015 (WOMEX)
October 21-25, 2015 - Budapest, Hungary
The Canadian Independent Music Association (CIMA), the Canada Council for the Arts, Folquébec and the International Exchange for the Performing Arts (CINARS) are proud to announce their partnership arrangement to represent Canada at the 21st edition of the World Music Expo 2015 (WOMEX).
The expanded Canada-Québec booth will host a strong cross-section of Canadian buyers and sellers (including some of Canada’s top festivals, record labels, managers, promoters and artists from the world music arena).
Canada-Quebec booth delegates at WOMEX will enjoy access to discounted registration rates, reception desk services, dedicated meeting space and display space for promotional materials.The CIMA booth number is 1-75.
CIMA will provide its members and the industry with the opportunity to participate in dedicated trade activities (details to follow).
CIMA registrations must be pre-registered directly with WOMEX in order to take advantage of this initiative.
The Canada Council will host a reception on Thursday, October 22. CIMA registrants are welcome to attend.
CIMA registrants attending WOMEX with the Canada-Québec booth must be pre-registered directly with WOMEX in order to take advantage of this initiative. When you register for WOMEX 2015 through the Canada-Québec booth, special reduced rates apply:
- Until September 25, 2015: € 270 (regular price: € 335)
- Until October 16, 2015: € 295 (regular price: € 365)
- October 21-24 (Walk Up Rate): € 315 (regular price: € 385).
The fee to register for the CIMA-organized Stand and B2B activities is CAD $200 for CIMA members and CAD $300 for non-CIMA members (in addition to your WOMEX registration).
