Showcase and Celebration of Canadian Musical Excellence (Los Angeles, February 2017)
CIMA will be presenting our Annual Pre-Grammy Showcase, an event designed to celebrate the 59th Anniversary of the GRAMMY Awards® to highlight our great Canadian music talent to key industry and media representatives in Los Angeles.
The Showcase and Celebration of Canadian Musical Excellence will take place on either Wednesday, February 8, 2017 or Thursday, February 9, 2017 in Los Angeles at the Canadian Residence, three days before the GRAMMY Awards®.
CIMA is looking for submissions on behalf of emerging, export-ready Canadian artists/bands. We require that the artists/bands have a business representative present at the event.
Artists/musicians should be eligible to perform in the US (passports, visas, etc.), and be “export-ready”.
There is no cost to perform; however, the companies (artists/musicians) are responsible for all their own travel-related costs (airfare, accommodation, etc.).
There is a $25 processing fee to submit your application.
Submissions will be adjudicated by our talent committee and only successful applicants will be notified. Please note, this opportunity is only open to Canadian artists only.
