CIMA Appoints Sarah Ferries as Program & Marketing Coordinator
CIMA is pleased to announce Sarah Ferries’ appointment as Program & Marketing Coordinator for CIMA & MusicOntario, moving from her role as Administrative Coordinator. In her new role, Sarah will oversee the social media and marketing strategies, professional development programming, and Annual Awards Gala for CIMA & MusicOntario.
Sarah moved to Canada from Scotland in 2015 with a degree in Commercial Music from the University of the West of Scotland, and experience in administration, project coordination, event planning, and marketing within the arts and entertainment industry. With Sarah’s experience, knowledge, and passion for the music industry, we are confident that she will achieve great success in this role!
“Music has always played an important role in my life, and since joining CIMA in May, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed utilizing my knowledge and skills in order to support the development of the Canadian indie music sector. With this new role, I’m excited to continue that work by focusing on new avenues for growth through professional development training, and bringing CIMA’s name to the forefront of the industry as a vital source of advancement and support” says Sarah. “I’m so grateful for this opportunity, and want to thank the rest of the team for making CIMA a truly brilliant place to work”.
In her spare time, you can find Sarah checking out a local gig, reading a good book, or snuggling at home with her cat Podrick (yes, she’s also a GOT fan).
