August 29, 2016, TORONTO – The Canadian Music Café has announced its line-up of 17 prominent music supervisors who will participate in this year’s 8th edition. The list was specially curated to include some of the most accomplished international supervisors who shape the sound of film, television, advertising and video games. This year’s Café will take place September 12-13, 2016 at the Gladstone Hotel (1214 Queen Street West) and will be open to accredited filmmakers, producers and industry professionals attending the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). “Our main goal for the Café is to create a space for music supervisors and up-and-coming Canadian music talent to meet, discover and collaborate,” said Michael Perlmutter, Supervisor at instinct entertainment and curator of the Canadian Music Café. “We have the largest contingent of supervisors we’ve had in the Café’s 8-year existence who will bring a wealth of experience to this year’s event.”

Each Café artist will play one of his or her songs live along with a scene from a known film.
