Brooke Morgan (Wavy Haze/ The Orchard)
Brooke Morgan is a Toronto-based music industry professional who wears multiple hats in the field. In 2021, she joined The Orchard's exceptional music distribution team as a Label Manager, collaborating with a diverse range of clients including Birthday Cake Media, Dine Alone Records, R&B artist Dylan Sinclair, and rising country icons High Valley. Drawing from her prior experience as Label Director at Paper Bag Records, Brooke also contributes to the development of Wavy Haze Records, an independent label she co-founded with Born Ruffians. Additionally, Brooke has ventured into artist management, representing acclaimed Canadian singer-songwriter Sarah Harmer and indie up-and-comers Ice Cream.
Matt Maw (Red Music Rising)
Matt Maw (Chippewas of the Thames First Nation) serves as the Director & Lead Artist Manager at Red Music Rising. With over a decade of diverse music industry experience, Matt is deeply passionate about artist development and committed to showcasing Canada's Indigenous talent on the global stage. His extensive career includes collaboration with renowned artists such as Boogey The Beat, Nimkish, Wolf Saga, Logan Staats, Sebastian Gaskin, and Kristi Lane Sinclair, among others. A graduate of the Harris Institute for the Arts, Matt has previously collaborated with esteemed organizations including Arts & Crafts Productions, Six Shooter Records, and New Constellations.
Stefanie Purificati (The Feldman Agency)
Stefanie Purificati embarked on her career as an agent in 2010 and played a pivotal role in establishing the Toronto office for APA Canada. With a rich background in the music industry, she began as the in-house talent buyer at the Drake Hotel. Stefanie's current roster at The Feldman Agency boasts a diverse array of talents including Aysanabee, iskwē, Shawnee Kish, Jamie Fine, Digging Roots, and drag superstars Mo Heart and Tynomi Banks. An active member of the community, Stefanie has contributed her expertise to organizations such as the Country Music Association of Ontario and the Polaris Music Prize, in addition to serving as a panelist at esteemed conferences like Canadian Music Week and Breakout West.
Stephen Franke (Blue Heron Music)
Stephen entered the industry as a studied musician, toured and made no money, began producing music and randomly jumped into mgmt/label services which miraculously was a fit. Stephen now co-runs Blue Heron Music with Morgan Brooker, directing the careers of Ocie Elliott, Loving, Current Swell, Jon and Roy, Jesse Roper, The Bankes Brothers, Nicky Mackenzie, Fleece and more. As well, Stephen co-produces The Phillips Backyard Festival Series (www.phillipsbackyard.com), a 5000 capacity series in Victoria featuring international headliners like Lord Huron, DJ Pee Wee (Anderson Paak), Fleet Foxes, Peach Pit, Sudan Archives, Sampa The Great, Bahamas, Half Moon Run, Future Islands and more.
Savannah Wellman (Tiny Kingdom Music)
Savannah Wellman is a co-founder of Tiny Kingdom Music, a Vancouver-based record label and artist management company. With over 15 years of experience in the music industry, Savannah's journey began with a BFA in music performance, followed by a pivotal role as project manager for artist development initiatives at Music BC, including the PEAK Performance Project for eight years. She has contributed her expertise as a juror for esteemed awards such as the JUNO Awards and Prism Prize, while also participating in initiatives like the 2020 Keychange program. Savannah's commitment extends to fostering gender equality in the BC music industry through her administration of the Women in Music - BC chapter, a non-profit organization dedicated to this cause.
